I was inspired to learn the fine art of tapestry weaving thirty plus years ago while in Santa Fe and Taos NM. I was so impressed by the Navajo rugs and large contemporary abstract tapestries. Since then I have studied with highly accomplished Navajo weavers and contemporary tapestry artists.I love the networking and inclusive attitude in the tapestry world. Living on the coast of Maine, and travels to experience the art, cultures and architecture of many countries are woven into my artwork.
